    The device serves as a transparent converter of physical layer Ethernet to MBUS and allows for long-range reading of measuring devices through LAN. The converter supports physical layer MBUS (also known as M-BUS or Meter-BUS) according to the standard EN 13757-2. The device is enclosed in a plastic cover allowing for easy mount on a DIN rail.

    The device is powered by power supply in the range of 12 to 24VDC/VAC and is able to communicate with up to 15 MBUS slave devices. The maximum length of the cable segment connected to the slave can be up to 1000 meters with a communication speed of 300 bps. For easier management of TCP/IP packets in master system, utility “COM Port Redirector (RFC2217)” is available. This utility allows redirection of TCP/IP packets to Virtual COM Port, alternatively to OPC server.

    Hello, I am interested in ordering one Converter M-BUS to Ethernet for 15 devices, product code 44 from your e-shop. Before ordering, could you please confirm the following: 1. Is the unit currently sold under product code 44 the r7 hardware version, as described in your current “Converter MBUS to Ethernet for 15 devices r7” user manual dated November 10, 2025? 2. Is the M-Bus output protected against short circuit, and does it automatically recover after the short circuit is removed? 3. Does the r7 unit have CE conformity, and could you please provide the EU Declaration of Conformity? The unit will be used with two M-Bus energy meters at 2400 baud and connected directly over a TCP socket to a Node-RED system. Thank you.
