    The device serves as a transparent converter of physical layer RS232 (EIA/TIA 232) to MBUS and allows for long-range reading of measuring devices through LAN. The converter supports physical layer MBUS (also known as M-BUS or Meter-BUS) according to the standard EN 13757-2. The device is enclosed in a plastic cover allowing for easy mount on a DIN rail.

    Product detailed description

    The device is powered by power supply in the range of 12 to 24VDC/VAC and is able to communicate with up to 15 MBUS slave devices. The maximum length of the cable segment connected to the slave can be up to 1000 meters with a communication speed of 300 bps. The baud speed of the communication doesn’t have to be adjusted, the converter works independently from the communication speed of the master system.
